Important Update

Our robot supports multiple AI large models. Prior to June 17, 2026, users could manually switch AI models when creating a new character in the Smart Life App.

However, due to the latest enterprise access policies introduced by major AI tech companies, specifically enterprise digital signature authentication, Smart Life updated the integration method with AI Large Language Models. Effective June 18, 2026, the Smart Life App will gradually phase out manual AI model switching. Instead, it will automatically assign a single most suitable AI model based on the user's country or region.

Please note that this update will be rolled out to all users in batches.

Beware of Counterfeit Products

• Recently, some other sellers are selling fake AI robots at a lower price, with the same plastic shell, but no Tuya chip inside, no AI models, no multi-languages, and even no English manual. Be sure to check the reviews before placing an order to avoid scams.

4 Chat Modes

The robot has 4 chat modes, but these 4 chat modes cannot be activated at the same time; only 1 chat mode is valid at a time. Therefore, you need to be aware of which chat mode the robot is currently in, and then perform the corresponding operations:

• Long Press to Talk mode: Long press the Chat Activation Button (central button) to speak.
• Press to Talk mode: Short press the Chat Activation Button (central button) to speak.
• Wake Up to Chat mode: Say the voice command "Hey, TUYA" to speak.
• Free to Chat mode: Freely talk with no need to press any buttons or say any voice commands. The robot replies to your words immediately.

The robot's default chat mode is Long Press to Talk mode. In this mode, you need to long press and hold the Chat Activation Button (central button) to speak. After you finish speaking, release your hands, and the robot will start replying to you.

If you do not like the default chat mode and want to use other chat modes, double-click the Chat Mode Conversion button (lowest button) to change to the chat mode you want. Every time you double-click it, the chat mode changes, and a voice prompt will tell you the name of the current chat mode.

• If your Tuya devices do not support the AI instruction code, voice commands will be invalid.
• If you want to know whether your Tuya devices support the instruction code or not, please ask the manufacturer.
• Smart switches and smart breakers in our store can support the AI instruction code. Tuya IR (RF) smart remotes, sensors, sirens, and garage door openers do not support the AI instruction code for now.
